New Bedford Public Schools utilizes MEFA Pathway for college and career readiness beginning in grade 6. As recommended by the Massachusetts Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, New Bedford participates in MyCAP (My Career and Academic Planning). Students in grades 6 and above should use ClassLink to access their individual MEFA Pathway portal. Parents and caregivers may learn more about the platform on the MEFA Pathway website.
MEFA Pathway is the driving tool for the college application process at New Bedford High School. Seniors will receive instruction on connecting their Common Application account to MEFA Pathway as well as requesting materials for college applications that are not connected to the Common Application. Students should contact their school counselor or a member of our college access team for support if needed.
